    , these 24 -inch dolls are Reproductions the original 1915 era VOLLAND Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls by Johnny Gruelle.

    items created in the 2000’s for Japanese and US fans of RAGGEDY ANN and ANDY
    .
    Special touches include:
    Raggedy Ann’s dress print with the characters of
    Snitznoodle, Camel w/the Wrinkled Knees and Fido!
    Look at Andy’s huge mitten like hands compared to the more dainty sized  Raggedy Ann’s.
    Both have their original hang tags as well as body tags.
    Ann has the
    Volland style of brown hair with twist in back
    and Andy,
    red.
    Their
    feet face outwards
    like the early dolls too. Seller is the only and original owner of these special dolls. They have been displayed behind glass, away from sunlight, purchased brand new in plastic bags, in 2002.
    CONDITION
    :
    Excellent with tags overall. Only detectable flaws are the stretching out of elastic on Ann’s pantaloons-and possibly at Andy’s waist-can’t recall if they were always bigger at waist or not. His huge buttons charmingly are at waist, front and back. No unpleasant odors or smell of smoke. Nonsmoking and cat free home.
