    Description

    Offered here are a pair of handmade muslin cloth dolls – they are Raggedy Ann & Andy.  They have red yarn hair, button eyes, embroidered facial features and are dressed in cotton patchwork.  Ann has white bloomers and apron pinafore with tie sash.  Andy has red trousers with two buttons at the knees.  They both wear red and white stockings, black corduroy shoes, and white sailor “dixie-cup” cat.  Their hearts are embroidered I love you.   The dolls are firmly stuffed.  Andy has a rust stain over the left brow – this is probably from poor storage and a bit of the discoloration extends to his cap.  The clothes have metal snap closures, but Andy’s cap is pinned to his head so it could be removed for laundering.  This is a charming pair of well-crafted, vintage dolls.
