    Description

    Hendershott 61-100.  Struck in brass.  32 mm.  Obverse features a man in a Daniel Boone type outfit holding a long rifle with the words THE MAN WITH THE GUNN above and GRAND RAPIDS below.  The reverse features the words GUNN SECTIONAL BOOKCASES AND DESKS AWARDED GOLD MEDAL ST. LOUIS EXPOSITION in six lines.  A very rare piece from the Louisiana Purchase Exposition.  Graded as uncirculated details / cleaned as per NGC.
    The Gunn Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan, founded by William S. Gunn, operated from 1874 - 1953.
