1960's Silvertone 1446 "Chris Issak" Vintage Guitar Body & Neck Only Project

This listing is for a Vintage 1960's Silvertone Model 1446 Electric Guitar Body & Neck (Husk) that is being sold for repair & restoration. The listing is for the guitar as pictured with the parts removed. The first thing you need to know about this guitar is truss rod nut is broken and there is no way for a tool to grip the truss rod at this time. This is the type of thing you see of guitars from time to time and is a fairly major issue. They do make a "Truss Rod Rescue Kit" which is a tool you can buy that sometimes can repair this specific issue.
I am selling this guitar husk-Body & Neck for an aspiring luthier or guitar tech who wants a project to repair & restore. The other issues I  am aware of would be the input jack area is a little cracked and the original plastic end-pin/strap button is partly broken off. The guitar shows fairly heavy cosmetic wear and nicks, dings and scratches. The frets show wear and divots in them. The tuners holes appear to have been enlarged and the guitar probably had a few different sets of tuners on it over it's lifetime. The guitar is obviously being sold as a project for repair & restoration and is being sold AS-IS with no returns or refunds. Please only buy this if you are comfortable buying this AS-IS with the understanding that it will need significant repairs. The guitar comes with a non original chipboard guitar case that is just to protect the guitar in shipping and the guitar will be safely packed.
