    Description

Selling some stuff for an inlaw that moved, so see my other auctions.   This is a 1960s Kent model 546 Americana guitar.    Different body shape than most of the derivative MIJ stuff of the period.    Needs some dusting, but I don't have time.   In solid shape -- neck is straight, stays in tune, body is sound, and all hardware is there.    Back has some buckle rash and little scars from use, nothing dramatic.   Had to clean the pots when I tested it, no noise now, and both switches work as well.  Pickups are nice -- these are flat bars, like the old DeArmonds, no pole pieces.    Tested this out and it plays great -- light on the shoulder, medium neck, frets in good shape.  Action can bet set a little lower than most of these Japan hollowbodies because of the tailpiece -- it doesn't move and cause buzzes.     25" scale, 1 11/16 nut.
Don't have a case but it will be well packed -- box is big (46x6x18) so don't get on my back about shipping.     Please let me know if you have questions,
