Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers a 1962, (dated by the pot codes, 1376223 & 1376225), Kay model K100, Vanguard single pickup electric guitar. WAY above average for it's age. All original except the strings, and electronics wiring, & capacitor. Spit shined, set up PLAY READY. The 19 fret neck has minute wear on the brass fret wires, and the rosewood fret board. The truss rod adjustment works fine, neck relief adjusted to .0075" at the 12 fret, measured with my dial indicator. .120" string action height, at the 12th fret, no buzz's. The Kay "Kelvinator" plate is somewhat wrinkled, was that way when I got this. I have seen K100 Vanguard models without this plate on the peghead.  When I got this there was a problem with the wiring. Both pots tested fine, and the pickup tested good. I replaced the foil / paper capacitor with a .1 MFD ceramic capacitor and changed the wiring to a more modern design diagram. I also drilled a hole thru the body, to the electronics cavity, so I could add a grounding wire to the string tailpiece.  Has some dings, and wear marks. These Vanguards have a solid wood body, with maple veneer front and back. Nice sunburst finish.  Measures, 36-1/2" overall, 25-3/4" scale length, 1-11/16" nut width, 12-3/8" lower bout, 8-1/2" waist, 9-5/8" upper bout, and 1-1/2" body thickness. READ my feedback, buy with
