    Description

    Vintage 1965 or 68 Gibson Melody Maker D plays like dream with new set. up low action. straight neck.  Just a beautiful playing guitar.  Guitar looks to be professionally refinished on the back of the neck and some touch ups and what a great job that was done.
    While I got this guitar as is...I opened her up and found 2
    Demarsio
    Pickups  (I think the pots are iriginal but I can't read the date codes due to the solder.  2 phase switches were installed as well as Grover tuners.  All work was very nicely done.  Great vintage trem bar added as well.
    Action was professionally set up new strings (10"s) and low easy to play action.  Straight neck with no issues.Serial number is easy to read in person stamped in  512855
    This is a players guitar for sure.
