Afro-Cuban Sequence, Performance & Voice Sounds for Yamaha SY85 on Disk In Case.
This is an exotic sound set for the SY85: AFRO-CUBAN PERCUSSION. This is one of my personal favorites. It has one awesome sequence featuring only exotic drum sounds .... with 7 new performances (all drums) and 21 new voices (drums and percussion) that are made from 20 new samples. This is for use ONLY in the Yamaha SY85 keyboard MIDI synthesizer. This is a new double density disk (the type this keyboard prefers) unused, except to load the data of course. The original disk was damaged, so I've replaced it with this one, and included the very good condition insert from Yamaha, placed into a nice disk case.
The performance names are these cool drums, and give you an idea of what this is:

Conga
Udu
Log Drum
Talking Drum
Shakers
TumbaBel
> Though they are for the demo, you can easily use the samples combined with on-board waveforms, to make your own sounds.
Loading this disk into your SY85:
Insert Disk
Select Utility then Disk
Select "Disk All" if needed
Press F1 so that Load is selected
Press Enter
Press the Sequencer Run button to play the sequence
A1-C5 will have new Voices, while new Performances are in locations A1-A7
* Note, please make sure that your SY85 disk drive is working correctly before purchasing this disk, as the floppy disk drive is the first thing to fail on these types of keyboards, which are more than 25 years old now. If you've just bought an SY85, it's best to try to save to and load from a blank disk first to make sure it works before you try a disk like this one. If it doesn't work, it's far more likely that the drive is bad, than the disk. Thank you!
