Fine Large 24" Vintage Balinese Wood Carving Semi Nude Lady w/ Basket Sculpture

Description

Offered here is a gorgeous antique/vintage wood carving from Bali. This carving features a gorgeous lady with long flowing hair carrying a basket of fruit. She is very tastefully hand carved from one solid piece of dense hardwood by a master wood carver. Her facial features are so very well done.  She has a tall, slender body and is nude on the top and draped on the bottom. This statue stands 24" in height. She is in very good well cared for estate condition with no noticeable major, chips or cracks. There is one inconspicuous spot on the brim of her hat that looks like an old glue repair(see clos-up photos) You have to really look to even see this.

She is truly a wonderful work of art. I believe she dates to the Mid Century but could be earlier. This sculpture weighs 5 pounds before packing.
