    Description

Hal Singer Jazz & R & B Saxophonist 1940's Autographed Publicity Photo RARE!
Fantastic original, vintage 1940's autographed publicity photograph measures 8" x 10" and pictures a great image of Jazz R & B saxophonist Hal Singer, who recently passed at the age of 100 in Chatou, France.
Singer was born in Greenwood district of Tulsa Oklahoma. He was the last surviving male survivor of the
    Tulsa race riot
(also called the Tulsa massacre, Greenwood Massacre, or the Black Wall Street Massacre), which took place on May 31 and June 1, 1921, when he was just a baby. In his mid - 40's he moved and settled permanently near Paris, France.
He autographed this photo in pen.
    The inscription reads:
"For Harold: To Saul & Wife  Best Of Everything  Hal Singer". The photo has some creasing.
This is a rare original, vintage autographed publicity photo of Hal Singer! 6.00 shipping in the USA.
