Kawai Tri Tone 1960's Black Sunburst Solid Body Electric Guitar with NOCC
Here we have a 1960s Japanese solid body electric guitar in an original sunburst finish, likely from the Kawai factory. No badge on headstock. This instrument is a double pick up electric guitar, with 2 single-coil pups in the neck & bridge positions and a master tone and volume knob, w 2 pup selector switches & a whammy bar. The neck & body are solid wood. Body style is similar to a Mosrite double cutaway axe. The sound is a clean, neutral tone and it plays very easily & nicely. Bolt on neck. NOCC.

We have had repairs performed that we felt were absolutely necessary to get this equipment into good, functional condition. Work was performed & guitar was professionally set up by DiPinto Guitars, luthiers & guitar manufacturers, from Phila., PA. If the buyer wishes to continue to tweak & upgrade this axe, that is entirely up to them and solely at their expense. The transfer of ownership occurs when the buyer pays for this item.
