The SPL Mo-Verb Plus Microplug delivers part of the samemagical envelope shaping provided by the original Transient Designer hardware,replicating the boost provided by the Sustain knob that extends the decay ofyour sounds. It uses the same processing technique, known as DifferentialEnvelope Technology, which revolutionized dynamic processing with itslevel-independent methodology.
With just one knob that allows the decay of a sound to beboosted and drawn out, Mo-Verb Plus also sports a soft peak limiter and adry/wet control, allowing total flexibility across a wide range of content anda worry-free workflow in the digital world. And with over a decade of hardwaremodeling experience, Brainworx has impregnated the Mo-Verb Plus with a corealgorithm that matches the behavior of the original Transient Designer unitcloser than ever before.
Working with the Mo-Verb Plus is disarmingly simple: Allreverb events can be amplified – regardless of their signal level. Thistranslates to endless possibilities for studio and live applications! Decaycurves of any sound event can be emphasized very simply, with just the turn ofa single knob. The Mo-Verb Plus also offers an output gain control that allowscompensation for level changes after processing the signal. This, combined withthe onboard peak limiter and dry/wet control, ensure a simple and safeadjustment of levels while avoiding internal clipping and shaping the decaycharacteristics of your sound.
Bring out the sustain period of a snare to get the tone andgrit up front in the mix. Let every note of a guitar riff sing to its heart’scontent. Adjust the apparent “distance” of the microphone by simply varying theReverb Enhancement value. All of these effects would take considerable programmingof a typical compressor, but Mo-Verb Plus can do it all with just one knob!
