Box Set of 6 Raggedy Ann Dolls
- Limited Edition of 7,500 sets. Each Doll in the set is numbered. New never played with they are a cute 10” each a different version and a perfect size for collecting!
The box is opened and in good condition used. It has a Velcro closure and a few worn creases from opening and closing. See close up picture. Please examine all pictures closely and ask questions if needed. I have tried to point out any flaws, however being a previously owned product they are sold “as is”.
- P. F. Volland Co., 1918-1934: Cartoonist Johnny Gruelle patented his famous rag doll in 1915, but it was not until three years later that the P. F. Volland Company introduced the first commercially produced Raggedy Ann. Each charmingly primitive doll had shoe-button eyes and a "candy" heart stuffed inside her soft body (the hearts were really cardboard). More history of each doll is on the box.
