Description

Silvertone electric guitar by Danelectro guitars. It is a model 1452 Hornet, and it has had a recent full and detailed Set-up. The guitar has two chrome Lipstick pickups, a Vibrato bar, All-in-line gears, with a thin and light Strat-style body and headstock. The tone on this guitar is exceptional, and It's similar to a 1950s or 1960s Fender Telecaster. It is very crisp and clean but distorts and sustains nicely with amp overdrive and/or fuzz devices. Everything works fine and the frets are level and smooth. The action is set far lower than most guitars of this vintage are capable, and it plays great all the way up and down the neck.
This is in excellent condition with the original finish but with the usual paint nicks, scratches, and a few small dents. The electronics, pots and caps, pick-ups and switch are all original and working great. There is no paint touch-up or overspray whatsoever, and no routing under the pickguard.
A generic, newer gig bag is included to protect the guitar during shipping.
