    The Children's Own Reader.  Book One.  By Mary E. Pennell and Alice M. Cusack.  Illustrated by Marguerite Davis.  Ginn and Company.  Copyright 1929.  Printed in the USA.  The Athenaeum press.  Hardbound measuring 7.5" x 5.5" and containing 178 pages, many with charming, colorful illustrations. (See photos.)  Hard to find Book One.  In basic good condition but with a few markings and a chip on one page (see photo #2.) and some light aging marks here and there.  Book was pre-owned; used in Sebeka, Minnesota.
