    Description

    This, phone is unique it was used in the mines for communincation  above.  The phone was made by Western Electric, and designed to be water tight and sealed to prevent any sparks that could cause an explosions. The phone weights 15 lbs and is 10" around. The phone was used in the early 60's  it was definitely built to take a beating. I would like to thank the person that explained the phone to me. I cant believe the phone was really a life line to the people above. I know because of the weight the shipping will be a little price I will get a exact price for shipment.
