Here is a very good condition Vintage Teisco Japan "Sorento" Badged electric guitar. All original, double cutaway, offset body design with Red Burst finish. Missing the tremolo arm. The edges are mostly free of dents and scratches and there are no stress cracks at the heel joint. There are a few lines of finish checking as per its age.
It has a couple of design elements that make this one somewhat more unique than many Teisco guitars of the era. The 'Sorento' badge on electrics is one that isn't seen for sale often. The raised control panel is one that I have never seen (pic 3). It has a truss rod adjuster on the headstock under a cover and not the regular open adjuster at the heel of the neck. It also has a Gibson style 10/32" thread adjuster nut. The bar fret markers were not widely used. Cool guitar for a junkie looking to add a cool vintage guitar from the Golden Era of Japanese builders of the 60's.
